The intent of this scheme is to make our software available to eligible (see below) faculty, staff, and students of Computer Science or related programs within accredited academic institutions. By entering the program, the institutions will be able to better prepare their students for the emerging world of distributed object oriented systems. Example academic institutions using our software include: Malardalen University and University of Kassel.
To achieve this goal, we will license selected software products to qualifying academic institutions FREE of charge.
Note that in order to qualify for this program, the use of our products is restricted to teaching and research purposes only, and are not permitted for use in EU, Government, or Industry Funded Projects and/or for commercial gain.
Our Spectra products are exempt from the free academic program license scheme, but instead are eligible for significant discounts when institutions are using them for teaching or academic research purposes only. Please contact a member of the Spectra product sales team to discuss your requirements and determine what level of discount is applicable. Contact us.
