Be sure that the problem is a bug
If something just isn't working as you'd expect it to or you are receiving an error message then try checking the Frequently Asked Questions or ask for some help on the DDS Forum.
Reproduce the bug with the latest available version of DDS Community Edition
Always make sure you are using the latest available version of the DDS Community Edition when reporting a bug. We can only provide free best effort support for this version. See the DDS Community Edition download page for the latest version.
If you require support with guaranteed service level responses then you should consider commercial support. Please see this page for details.
Search the bug database for your problem
The DDS Community Edition Bugzilla page is here. Please search for any previous reports of your problem before reporting a new issue.
Ask on OpenSplice DDS Forum
Consider asking on the OpenSplice DDS Forum list to see whether your bug is already known to other users or the OpenSplice DDS development team.
Submit a bug report via the DDS Community Bugzilla Issue Tracker
Please fill out a bug report in the DDS Community Edition Bugzilla issue tracker.
You will need to have registered with a verified e-mail address in order to raise a report. Please provide as much detail as possible on your report.
Provide a test case and fix
We will try and investigate all bug reports as quickly as possible subject to availability of resources.
If you are able to provide a test case that reproduces the bug that you are reporting, however, it will increase the probability that someone will be able to investigate your issue quickly. If you can provide a test case and a patch to fix the issue it will make it even more likely. Please see this page for details of how to contribute a test and fix.
Confirm the problem is resolved
Once a fix has been identified and has shipped in an DDS Community Edition release please check that it resolves your issue and notify us through Bugzilla so that the issue can be closed.
