Current Version of OpenSplice DDS Community Edition and Tools
OpenSplice DDS Community Edition is currently available as a Host Development Environment (HDE) binary distribution pre-built for the following platforms:
- 32 and 64 bit x86 Linux
- 32 bit x86 Windows
- 32 bit SPARC Solaris 10
Evaluation HDE distributions of commercially licensed OpenSplice DDS are also available from this page. These include many additional features and tools that are not present in the Community Edition binary distributions and are bundled with a free thirty day license key file. After installation please see the index.html in the installation root for details of the software license and ./docs/pdf/OpenSplice_GettingStarted.pdf for comprehensive set-up instructions.
A corresponding OpenSplice DDS Community Edition source code download is also available. If you wish to try building OpenSplice DDS on any platform other than those listed above you are recommended to first discuss your plans on the developer mailing list. Note that all binary HDE distributions of OpenSplice also include this source code in the ./src directory.

After downloading one of the OpenSplice DDS Community Edition HDE distributions please see the installation instructions for how to install and configure your runtime environment. The Commercial Edition full HDE evaluation distributions contain an executable installer that should be run.
