PrismTech Executive Management Team
David Cairns is a major shareholder and executive Chairman of PrismTech's Board of Directors. David has held top management positions with telecommunications, computer hardware & software and venture capital companies in the USA, Canada, the UK, Netherlands & Germany and led Marcam's and Baan's IPO's on the NASDAQ and Amsterdam stock exchanges. David also supported the IPO of PSA AG in Germany. David's experience ranges from founding start ups to holding senior management, officer & board positions with public multi-national technology companies. David also has substantial international M&A and private investment experience. From early 2003 until late 2005 he was CEO of G-Log – a private global supply chain software company based in Philadelphia – where he built and led a strong management team that doubled the revenues of this circa 200 person business while turning the Company to profitability. David successfully negotiated the sale of G-Log to Oracle Corporation in 2005.
David is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants and has a Master's degree in Business Administration (Cranfield). Holding the title of Baron of Finavon, David is also a Founder of the National Museum of Scotland and a Fellow of the Scottish Society of Antiquaries.
As CEO, Keith Steele has complete management responsibility for the Company. Keith founded PrismTech in 1992 and has nearly 20 years of experience in general management, marketing and business development in the technology industry. Under Keith's leadership, PrismTech has established itself as a recognized world leader in the supply of infrastructure software products to major international blue-chip clients in the telecommunications and defense sectors. Keith is responsible for PrismTech's strong reputation in the market for the quality of its people and products and the premium levels of client service and support it provides. Keith is committed to the use of Open Standards and has served on the boards of a number of international standards organizations, including POSC and the OMG, where he currently sits on the board of directors. Before becoming CEO of PrismTech, Keith was CEO of a leading UK-based systems integrator, and prior to that held senior sales and marketing positions with Texas Instruments. Keith is a Computer Science graduate from Sheffield University in the UK.
Steve Jennis is responsible for devising, implementing and coordinating PrismTech's strategic and tactical business plans throughout its worldwide operations. Steve has over 20 years experience in sales, marketing and general management positions in high technology organizations. While at PrismTech Steve has established PrismTech's North American operations and developed the worldwide sales and marketing functions. Prior to joining PrismTech in 1994, Steve was the General Manager of Texas Instrument's Computer Products Division and his 16 years experience at TI included over seven years in international marketing and strategic planning positions. Steve holds a B.Sc. in Physics from Loughborough University.
Andrew Lloyd is responsible for driving and coordinating PrismTech's sales and field marketing functions. Andrew has more than 20 years experience delivering technology sales and managing marketing. His previous experience includes serving as Vice President for Computer Associates (CA) managing their Security Management (eTrust) business across EMEA, managing industry sales operations at Enigma Inc. in Boston and seven years at Oracle Corporation in Edinburgh, Aberdeen and Houston, Texas. Most recently, as Chairman and CEO of Pivotal Integration, Andrew developed and led the company’s growth strategy. Andrew holds a B.Sc. Elec. & Elec. Eng. from Heriot-Watt University.
Lawrence Ross is responsible for Product Development (including Development Engineering and Product Management), Quality and Test, Professional Services, Support and Information Technology. Lawrence joined PrismTech from Sun Microsystems where he held a variety of roles over his 18+ year tenure, most recently as Business Unit General Manager for Sun's OEM / Telecommunication business. His experience includes roles in Operations, Professional Services, Business Development, Marketing and Product Development as well as extensive international experience having taken an assignment in California for 6 years and worked extensively with customers and suppliers round the world. Lawrence holds a B.Sc. Elec. & Elec. Eng. from Heriot-Watt University.
Phil Wright is responsible for managing PrismTech's global finance and administration activities. Phil joined the company in 1994 and his key achievements have included negotiating multi-million dollar investments, managing operational and financial aspects of the company's growth and playing a central role in establishing PrismTech Corporation. Prior to joining PrismTech, Phil spent 12 years with Deloitte and Touche, the last five years of which in the role of Corporate Finance manager working on all types of M&A transactions. Phil is ACA qualified and is an Economics and Politics graduate from the University of Warwick.
John Russell is responsible for ensuring that PrismTech's quality policy is implemented and maintained. John has over 25 years experience of software development with emphasis on Quality Assurance dating back to ISO9001 (1987), and latterly has experience of DO178/278 standards and the Common Criteria for IT Security Evaluation. John has been responsible for developing software for use in safety critical environments, including nuclear power generation. John is a chartered engineer, member of the Institution of Engineering and Technology and an Affiliate of the IEEE Computer Society.
