Software Defined Radio (SDR) Consulting Services

Register for the Live Spectra SDR Software Defined Radio Webcasts

Our approach is to optimize the value-add we provide to our customers by utilizing our world-class expertise and our Industry-best practices (Solution9001(SM)) project management methodology. Conducted by our SDR experts, we offer a broad spectrum of professional services consulting offerings.

Our experts include well-respected individuals within the SDR community who have been involved in the design and development of SDRs for almost 20 years, and have experience leading implementations of SDR component frameworks using such technologies as CORBA, UML, MDA, XML, and C++/C.

PrismTech offers a full range of SDR consulting services covering both short- and long-term engagements, from advisory services to full-scale development projects. Typical SDR consulting engagements involve the migration of legacy waveforms and platforms for adherence to the SCA, porting of SCA waveforms across radio platforms, updating SCA waveforms to a newer version of the standard, and testing of SCA waveforms for adherence to the standard prior to formal JTeL testing.

SDR Experience

PrismTech staff have been involved in many projects, working directly with the end-customer, or as a sub-contractor to most of the industry’s major providers of SDR solutions. Examples include:
• Soldier Radio Waveform (SRW) porting to multiple JTRS radio platforms
• Reverse engineering of an existing SRW implementation and generating a new implementation to ensure adherence to the SCA specification
• Developing JTRS waveform porting guidelines
• Supporting small form-factor demonstration for the JTRS/GMR program
• Designing and implementing several SCA-based waveforms
• Assisting in the development of several JTRS/SCA-based programs including:
• Step1, Step2a, Step2c
• Cluster1, Cluster2, MAF, Cluster5
• MIDSJTRS, AJCN, JSF, WIN-T and FCS
• Prototyping and field-testing JTRS radios

Customers

PrismTech has provided consulting services on various programs to an impressive customer list of some of the world’s leading SDR-related companies and organizations, including: SPAWAR, ITT, Boeing, Rockwell Collins, Raytheon, General Dynamics, Northrop Grumman, Lockheed Martin, Thales, Harris, MITRE, and SELEX.
